Singers Gian Magdangal and Lara Maigue are taking their relationship to the next level as they announced that they are finally engaged.
Magdangal revealed their engagement by showing Maigue wearing the diamond ring he gave her, through his Instagram page on Friday, July 18.
“She said yes to a lifetime,” he said in the caption.
Further details about the actual moment when Magdangal popped the question were not immediately shared by the couple.

Magdangal and Maigue’s engagement were celebrated by their fellow celebrities who sent their congratulatory greetings via the comments section. Among them were Ogie Alcasid, Ria Atayde, Rita Daniela, Carla Abellana and Iya Villania.

Magdangal and Maigue started dating during the height of the pandemic, although they already had been working together in several projects prior to being in a relationship.
“We’ve always known each other pero events lang — walang anything,” Maigue said in a 2024 interview with PUSH. “Nung pandemic, na pair kasi kami for a duet ni National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab… Na-realize namin na bagay ‘yung boses namin hanggang sa bagay na rin kami.”
Describing their relationship, Maigue underscored, “It’s not perfect but it’s very, very convenient.” /ra
